During week 8 of training the recruits and permanent staff of 15 platoon will complete a challenge consisting of the following:

• 600 length swim, to represent the estimated number of homeless deaths in the UK each year.
• 6km loaded March, to represent the estimated 6,000 homeless veterans in the UK.
• 320km cycle, to represent the estimated 320,000 homeless in the UK.
