The nursing Staff on ward16B at Stoke Mandeville Hospital have decided to take part in raising money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. The Hospice provides excellent care to patients on the End of Life Care Pathway. They do this by providing beds to patients who need symptom management and those discharged from the hospital. They also work closely with the Hospital Palliative Care Team who support the nursing staff on Ward 16B to provide the best possible care for palliative patients. On a personal level we have each lost a loved one to Cancer and the patients we care for have touched us in so many ways. We would like to give something back and hope our contribution will help many more patients. To raise money, Georgia and Ellie will be bravely participating in a Scary 10000ft skydive; and we as a team are hosting a Masquerade Ball on the 8th of November 2019, please contact any of us for tickets and details.
