Story

Our Nineteenth Enchanted Evening. Friday 30th September, 2022

It was back on January 23rd 2004 that we started this series of concerts- “PRINCIPAL MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL OPERATIC SOCIETIES IN CONCERT ONCE AGAIN IN SUPPORT OF WILLOW WOOD HOSPICE”. In the years since we have raised over £18,500!!

The last 2 years we had to adapt to the times in which we found ourselves and we did the concert as a virtual online show.

This proved very popular, however this year for 2022 we are BACK ON THE STAGE but with not only a new venue (Dukinfield Methodist Church, Wellington Parade), we are also hoping to live stream the event as well for those who cannot make it on the night.

Tickets will be available from Mike Styan for the event, and for those who are joining us online, you can make your donation via this justgiving page.

Around six principal singers will be taking part in the show.

This great fundraiser will be on Friday 30th September at 7:15pm.The suggested donation is £8 and all monies will go direct to Willow Wood Hospice. Donations can be made through this Just Giving page. (Over the last two years, with the added support of Steve Pearson Car Sales we raised over £1,200).

If you have any queries Mike will try to answer them on 07751 272763. In the meantime, many thanks for your past support and we hope you will join us this year for a great evening of musical theatre.

Very best wishes. Mike Styan and Phil Steels
