Story

AL FITRAH -  Welcome and Jazakum Allahu khairah for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Let us tell you what we are up to insha'Allah.

We have decided to take a walk!  A walk to be remembered and never forgotten!  A walk to revive the sunnah!  A walk to unite this Ummah!  Will you walk with us?  Will you support us?

Where are walking to you may ask?  What are we walking for you might wonder?

We are taking a challenge to walk to the peak of Pen - y - ghent at the Yorkshire Dales.  We are walking hoping you will sponsor and support us to raise funds for the 1Eid.net project which is supported by every scholar asked regarding it thus far such as Dr. Zakir Naik (India), Sh. Salim al Amry (Abu Dhabi), Sh. Sohaib Hassan (London Shariah Council), Sh. Haithan Hadaad (London), Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Phillips (Qatar), Mufti Barakatullah Saleem (London), Dr. Abdul Majid (Dubai, Luton), Sh. Yasir Qadhi (USA), Sh Abu Haneefa, Dr Khalid Fikri, Imam Khalifa & Imam Salah al Ansari (Regents Park Masjid) and many others including Imams of Masajid across the UK (in cities like London, Birmingham, Bradford, Leeds, Blackburn, Cardiff, Sheffield, Manchester, Leicester, Southampton etc...) The list goes on and on because this is truly an opportunity for the Muslims of the UK to finaly come together on something we all agree upon.  We are recognized and supported by various organizations like Islam Channel, Muslim Aid, Islamic Help, Utrujj, Islam Bradford, IRF and many more.  If everyone agrees and is a part of this revival, shouldn't you be also and support us with a generous donation, a kind word or at least pass the message on.

Did you know it is against the sunnah to pray Eid in the Masjid?

Did you know we are disobeying the sunnah which instructs all women must attend the Eid prayer, even those who are unable to pray.

Did you know our children are looking to other harmful festivals because we have abandoned ours?

Did you know most of our Masajid and Imams know these facts but are able to do very little about it?

1EID.NET of Al Fitrah is doing plenty about it and you can be part of this Sunnah revival.  Visit their website and forum to find out more!

Those who are able might want to attend the high profile glamourous dinner at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, London.  Saturday 1st of August.  To book a place or find out more visit www.preeiddinner.com

Scholars and community leaders will uncover facts about Eid and offer a solution to our growing problem of division amongst Masajid when it comes to the day of Eid prayer.  Some praying one day and others on the following day.  A lot of families are badly effected by this division and blatent disobedience to Allah's command "wa'tasimu bi hablillah jamee'ah"  Hold tight to the rope of Allah in Jamat (or together all of you).

Are you not tired of this division that many others mock Islam for and cause insecurity in our children in school when they face bullying?

Is it not time we came out of the Masajid into the open spaces (parks) or large venues (like the NEC Birm or Excel London)?

WE CAN fix the unity problem, NOT by argueing opinions on moonsightings but instead by taking the prayer responsibility away from the Masajid when and where possible so that the Muslims of 5 to 10 Masajid may pray in one location united.

Such large bodies making such an impact on our societies will surely tilt the boat in our favor of UNITY in opposed to what our Masajid have done thus far in DISUNITY.  We need to do our part to raise funds so that we can spread the awareness and increase possibilities for our future Eid events.

No more crowding into masajid against the sunnah.     No more leaving our women at home to cook and clean while the men go attain Allah's Mercy at the Eid prayer.      No more will we allow our children to feel bored with our Eid and look gleemingly at other haram and harmful festivities.         Stand with 1Eid to Revive the Sunnah!         Stand with 1Eid to correct our selves so Allah will correct our state.       Stand and support 1Eid to Unite the Muslims in the UK at least TWICE a year during the days of Eid!       Give as much as you can to better our future and secure our childrens faith and confidence.
