ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

Kent Scouts Community Impact team work with local and international Charities to help raise awareness and money for causes that have synergy with Scouting.

Many of the Kent Scouting groups are camping out with each Scout making their own shelter to sleep in overnight in order to raise money for Shelterbox.

Shelterbox provides emergency housing in the form of a box containing a tent, or materials to build a shelter, and other essentials to families who have been displaced from their homes due to man-made or natural disasters.

It's a great way of teaching our Scouts some great survival skills but also raising their awareness of worldwide events and how we should care for others.

If you'd like to help, please donate whatever you can for this worthy cause.
