Story

'One team to rule them all'

4 moderately fit and majorly underprepared geezers attempt the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours

Will we complete it in the time? Will our attempt be plagued with cramp and blisters (more than likely)? Will a 1 litre ford fiesta survive the journey?

Spending 24 hours together may prove to be more mentally challenging than the mountains!

The 'one' Team

Orrin - My role in the trip is the designated driver as I have recently had a knee operation which means I can't complete the hikes. I'll be supplying the tunes in the car and the food after each walk, so really I am the glue of the team.

Jacob - Can't wait to get started, an adventure with your mates, what could be better. We will be starting our attempt on the 19th of April a significant day, since the passing of my dad. It will definitely be some added motivation and a great way to remember him. Let's have it!

Sam - Excited to start this challenge with a great bunch of lads. Always wanted to push myself with challenges, so it made sense to attempt the national 3 peaks. Hoping to keep morale as high as possible throughout.

Alex - Looking forward to tackling this with the team! Having never done any form of trekking previously it made perfect sense to try and climb the 3 peaks in 24 hours...

We help local communities serve orphaned and vulnerable children in 8 countries in sub-Saharan Africa in communities where the need is at its highest and the support structure at its lowest; mainly through food security, access to health care and education. This gives them hope for the future.
