The Solent MS Therapy Centre provides therapies and support to people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with Multiple Sclerosis. We are a self funding charity and it costs £170,000 every year to keep the Centre open. We really appreciate everyone's kind efforts and support on our behalf.

Story

Hello,

If you’re here then we already want to say thank you for taking an interest in what we’re doing. If you then decide to leave a donation, well, you’re an extra awesome person and we REALLY appreciate it. X

Here’s why we’re doing what we’re doing:

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.

The Solent MS Therapy Centre provides help for those living with Multiple Sclerosis. It is a registered charity, established in 1984 and is part of the network of MS Therapy Centres scattered throughout the UK.

The therapies offered have been specially chosen to help ease the symptoms of MS and to help people cope with their daily lives.

The Centre has two part time and two full-time paid staff and a team of committed volunteers who all ensure the Centre runs smoothly and is open six days a week.

The Centre is entirely self-funding, receiving no financial help from the NHS or Councils, so is reliant on donations including those for the therapies received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
