Raising £2000 for 2000km! · 8 November 2020

Like many other charities, this year has been such a difficult year for us as a branch. We are so grateful for any support at all that you can give.

Story

The RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch provides a safe haven for cats, dogs and rabbits, rehabilitating them and then rehoming them when they are ready. This year has not been an easy for them. Like many other charities they have seen their fundraising income virtually stop, with shops being shut and fundraising events cancelled. If you can help support the branch with a donation of any amount, we would really appreciate it. No donation is ever too small.

Hi everyone!

It's Katie, Molly, Lucy & Jackie here. We are Animal Care Assistants at the RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch. This week, after the second lockdown announcement we decided to take on a challenge to try and raise much needed funds for the animals at our Animal Centre in East Ardsley. We've therefore set our self a challenge of dog walking 2000km between us between now and the end of the year and we're aiming to raise £2000 - £1 for every km!

We'd really love for you to support us by sponsoring us to take on the challenge - no donation is ever too small. We will be posting updates on a weekly basis so please keep looking to see how we are getting on.

Thank you all so much for your support.
