Adam's 200 miles in 200 days (Road to London Marathon 2016)

200 miles in 200 days · 25 October 2015
I was six-years-old when my mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Seeing someone you love so much change physically and mentally over a 21 year period has been hard. It could be easy for me and my family to dwell on this but that’s not our mentality.
As I see my mum wheelchair bound and deteriorating I thought, what can I do? How can I help? I give my mum undying support, as do all my family.
The MS Society has provided my family with unrivalled support. They have been there from when my mum was first diagnosed to the current day and have helped our family with endless support.
Over the last 8 years I have been giving back to numerous charities through asking for your sponsorship as I run half marathons in abundance. I’ve run them normally, run them in fancy dress (Toy Soldiers, Lego men) but I thought it’s about time to ramp it up a little.
Starting on Sunday 25 October in Portsmouth I will be running 200 official organised race miles over 200 days at numerous half marathons/10 mile and 10k events. I will be concluding in April 2016 with the London Marathon (26.2 miles)
Here is my list of events (more to be added when dates are confirmed):
25th October 2015 The Great South Run
6th December 2015. Bedford Half Marathon
If you are able to support me in whatever way possible I would be greatly appreciative as I bid to support a charity that is close to my heart. With your sponsorship you can help MS Society find a cure, make sure people with MS have treatments and give them the services they need for a better life.
For those of you who don’t know, Multiple Sclerosis is a condition of the central nervous system. The nerve fibres (called myelin) in those diagnosed with MS are damaged and it causes a range of symptons. It effects speech, memory, mobility, vision and other basic bodily functions that many of us take for granted.
Please help me achieve my sponsorship goal
