We are running for a local charity - Sobell House.  We have chosen Sobell House hospice as our charity as they provide our local community the most incredibly dignified support to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement.  Sorry this is not very cheerie, but this is the day to day reality for this incredibly local charity - this is what they do for individual affected and their families which is exactly why we want to run for them....

Our 2016 Great South Runners are.... Liz Kitchener, Lisa Hofen, Sally Rutty, Toby Christensen, Lei Lei, Karen Gent and Sarah King.

Everyone has committed to a long and significant training regime - believe me we have felt every step - in order that we can get fit enough for this challenging run.  Although, admittedly, this has been more challenging for some than others....!  ;-) 

The Great South Run takes place on Sunday 23rd October and is a 10 mile race around Portsmouth.
