Hello you lovelynpeople

It's been a while since dad passed away and while still leaves a big gap in our lives - it's more bearable now.

Harefield hospital took great care of him in his last few months - they are incredible people - a team of caring people who deal with some very difficult and challenging cases.

Without facilities like Harefield we would be subject to a very different situation and without this specialist centre for heart and lung trauma the UK would be worse off.

YES it's not just a local hospital that handles cases in and around Middlesex - I have met people that travel far and wide to be the beneficiary of this center of excellence..

We need to protect this amazing facility for the benefit of all.

And of course, one day, hopefully not, you may need to take advantage of it too.

Unfortunately many of my friends families have also had occasion to be patients in Harefield and are thankful for the care and humility they received even though for some the outcome was not a happy one, they received the best care and attention imaginable.

It is my absolute intention toI take part in 3 gruelling endurance events to raise money with your help...

- London Marathon 23rd April 2017
- Half Iron Man (Mallorca) 13th May 2017
- FULL Iron Man (Barcelona) 1st October 2017

All this to be achieved before my 50th birthday - 12th October 2017
