Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
Thanks everyone for your continued support and further information can be found on www.thehelps.co.uk
Each year I like to undertake a major challenge for a charity and this year will be two swims. Further to my successful swim of the Sea of Galilee earlier this year for the British Heart Foundation it is my intention in September to swim the Bonifacio Channel .
Two life-long swimming friends ,David Kimber and Mark Pollard, will also attempt to swim across this 15k Mediterranean stretch of water between the French Island of Corsica and the Italian island of Sardinia. I will once again be swimming in memory of my good friend and water polo captain Mark Shepherd while raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Officially only a few people have successfully crossed this channel and I am intrigued to find out why so few have undertaken it - So we’re going to find out!
Thank you to everyone who has supported and donated so far to the British Heart Foundation and for anyone wishing to know more about the challenge or progress some details are below:
