About our charity: Reading – BIBS (Babies In Buscot Support) - Reading

BIBS cares for babies and their families in the special care baby unit (the Buscot Ward) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. The charity is run by parents and carers who have been through the experience of having a baby that needs special care or is born prematurely. Reading’s Outsourcing Director, Samantha Day, nominated the charity after her son, Sebastian, was born over 10 weeks early at only 29 weeks gestation in 2021. The BIBS charity supported Samantha and her partner in many ways during
their 8 week stay on the ward. BIBS relies entirely on charitable donations in order to continue their work. We believe BIBS is a fantastic charity helping parents through a very difficult time, and we are delighted to be able to support them in this very special way.
