Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For 20 years, the Camelford based motorcycle club, Moorlanders MCC has held an Egg Run on Easter Sunday.  Each year we have raised over £3,500 for the charities we support.

Starting at Davidstow Airfield, motorcyclists gather to donate £5 per bike and chocolate eggs for children in care, and then start on a pre-planned and fully marshalled motorbike run around North Cornwall.

The Egg Run ends at Bowden Derra care home, with live music, bar-b-que, stalls, raffle and prize giving for the best bikes.

This Just Giving page collects part of the donation we'll make to Children's Hospice South West, who we have been supporting since conception of Little Harbour, their purpose built facility in St Austell, Cornwall that provides respite and end of life care to children with life limiting diagnosis.

The Moorlanders' Egg Run also raises money for Action for Children and the learning support units (ARBs) of Camelford and St Stephens Launceston primary schools.

Action for Children is a national charity with a division in Cornwall. The Egg Run donates to a local fund used for amenities and adventure trips for Young Carers, children who act as carers for their parent.

We are grateful for the support of Widows Sons MBA South West Chapter who assist with the marshaling and fund raising for our Egg Run.
