WellBoring alleviates poverty by enabling schools and communities in developing countries to access water by funding and organising the water boreholes, pumps and pipes, and supporting infrastructure

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Myself and a team of intrepid 'volunteers' from 21 are going to cycle from Oxford to London for this year's Charity Challenge all in aid of raising money for this year's nominated charity - Wellboring - https://www.wellboring.org/

Wellboring are a volunteer-run charity whose purpose is to alleviate poverty and improve school attendance, by enabling schools and communities in developing countries. to access water. Working with leaders of local schools and communities, they fund and organise the drilling of water boreholes, and the installation of pumps, pipes, and supporting infrastructure. They've already drilled more than 100 groundwater wells across Africa, with each well providing water to around 1,000 people!

"Where there's a will, there's a way."

Please give as generously as you can to contribute to fixing one of the world's biggest problems: access to safe water.

& wish us luck! :)
