Coventry Half Marathon 2021 · 31 October 2021 ·

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

James and Louisa will be running Coventry Half Marathon on the 31st October 2021 in support of St John Ambulance.

They were both students at the University of Warwick and volunteered on a regular basis, supporting the local community.

The University of Warwick First Aid Society and St John Ambulance unit runs weekly sessions open to staff and students at the University. In addition, they lead several outreach sessions throughout the year, raising awareness in local communities and young people, whilst also providing first aid cover ranging from local University sports matches to headline events throughout the country. The regular support provided by volunteers is done alongside their university studies.

James and Louisa are running to raise money for St John Ambulance as they believe nobody should die from a lack of trained first aiders.
