Like you, we are passionate about the power of prayer. We also believe that there is a ministry in Ibiza that is bearing fruit similar to that which we long to see in Brighton.

24-7 Prayer in Ibiza aim to show the love of God to the people they meet. Each year many people join one of the short term teams to bless, care for, serve, pray for and support the community in San Antonio, Ibiza.

For the first time, St Peters have partnered with 24-7 Ibiza to send a team of six out to the White Isle in the height of the summer and this is your chance to be part of making that happen.

24-7 Ibiza believe in blessing, not selling, trusting that it’s God’s kindness that leads us to repentance.

 

They seek to care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people that they meet and they do this by...offering to pray with people, cleaning up someone who’s vomiting, helping vulnerable people – drunk, drugged, injured or alone - to a safe place, listening to someone’s story or frustrations of the day, celebrating good news and happy times with people, taking someone who’s been injured to the medical centre, sharing their faith and stories of God with those who are keen to hear, seeking to bring calm to agitated people and stressful situations, asking God to lead them to specific people he wants them to talk to and to give them the words he wants them to hear.

 

We are raising money to help cover the cost of the trip, which includes, flights, accommodation and meals. Exceeding our target would enable us to give a gift to 24-7 Ibiza which they would be able to use to buy more of the much desired 'Jesus Loves Ibiza' bibles, amongst other essentials.

 

Prayer is a vital part of this ministry and as well as giving financially, we would love for you to pray for the team while we are away - 30th June to 13th July 2013.
