£4,303
raised of £4,000 target
24 Hour Cricket Training Challenge , 14 February 2020
This campaign will lay the foundations for human trials of a pioneering therapy for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The fatal disease affects the brain and nerves and causes weakness over time. There is currently no cure for the condition.

Story

This idea of doing a 24-hour cricket net challenge came about as just a fun and exciting challenge. However, as time passed and we became more serious about doing it, we thought that it would be a great idea to do it for a cause such as motor neurone disease due to the diagnosis to a teacher and friend to all at Worth.

This campaign will lay the foundations for human trials of a pioneering therapy for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The fatal disease affects the brain and nerves and causes weakness over time. There is currently no cure for the condition, which approximately one in 50,000 people in the UK will develop in any one year.
