24 Hour Bike Marathon · 27 May 2016

We provide music therapy for people of all ages with disabilities to improve their quality of life and wellbeing, and teach children and young people with disabilities to play a musical instrument and perform in concerts. Our work improves communication, confidence, connection and mental wellbeing.

Story

The Fulwell Golf Club Board, Captain's Committee and Ladies Committee are on their bike to raise money for the Captains' Charity, Otakar Kraus Music Trust.

They will be performing a 24 hour cycling marathon keeping 2 exercise bikes moving for this period in a relay format. The challenge will start on Friday 27th May at midday finishing the following day, Saturday 28th May at midday.

The Otakar Kraus music trust was founded in 1991 to provide music and voice therapy for children and young people with physical, psychological, learning , behavioural and emotional difficulties.

Music therapy enables people who find it hard to communicate through traditional channels to express and fulfill themselves. It opens a door towards a better quality of life.
