In organisational terms Dochas is a Christian, international, education, training and development organisation. Our vision is to work towards advancement and transformation through education and training. We have an holistic approach which means helping people with all their needs; physical, spiritual, emotional, mental and social. We desire to learn from others and share anything we have. Dochas also seeks to partner and network with other like minded organisations.

 

The Dòchas Education Trust has a project in Southern Malawi and is sending a group to help run a Children’s Bible Club for two weeks in July 2011.

Whilst in Nsanje, we would be working with local churches with a view to training recommended leaders in Children’s ministry.

The mornings would be spent working with the local leaders, and the afternoons spent at a village church where we would co-lead a Children’s Bible Club for 4.5 days of the week.

The weekends would be taken up by rest and travel, and we would run 2 CBCs over a fortnight. The leaders would be presented a certificate of completion after the week.

Kick off will be 6:30pm on the Friday night and the final whistle will blow at 7.00 on the Saturday night.

Players will play 11 aside, on grass, 12 hours each way! 

 

Money raised will be divided between equipping the team and a donation to the trust itself.
