24 hours on Snowdon for a stroke of luck · 9 July 2021

A Stroke of Luck is a registered charity with the primary focus on supporting stroke survivors in their life after stroke. We have been established to provide the opportunity for survivors to engage in exercise to aid their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through their recovery journey.

Story

My Daughter Elly had a stroke at the age of 19. To mark the 2nd Anniversary of her stroke I am aiming to hike all the main walking routes up Mount Snowdon in 24 Hrs. 4 x up & 4 x Down on the 9th of July 2021.Hopfully we can raise some much needed funds to support this amazing young charity who have supported so many stroke survivors through Lock down with amazing stroke therapy videos and supporting survivors and there A team of family members  through its social channels with things like Friday night lives on Instagram. Please show us support and help us raise some money and awareness of stroke survivors and there journeys.

A Stroke of Luck was founded by a Stroke Survivor who knows what it is like to live in a world post-stroke.We have been established to provide stroke survivors with the opportunity to access Experts' services to aid their recovery and rehabilitation. We aim to enable stroke survivors to become socially mobile by improving their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. No survivor should be thinking "what next?". At A Stroke of Luck, we provide a pathway to a happier future through engaging survivors in becoming as active as possible.
