RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

This August we are inviting you all to join us in supporting our 24hour triathlon challenge in memory of our beloved friend Rico Ash who sadly died of cancer in june of this year and in support of the local RNLI who do amazing work for the local community.

The challenge will take place from noon on saturday the 16th of august to noon on sunday the 17th and will involve swimming, cycling and running non stop between the Zetland Arms in Kingsdown and the Kings Head pub in Deal. As some of you may remember I completed this challenge solo two years ago but this year  (after a few too many croissants in paris) I am looking for as many of you as possible to get involved and take part, completing as little or as many legs as possible making it a real team event that everyone can be part of.

We really would appreciate your support in donating any amount you can to help fund the incredible life saving work of the RNLI who rely completely on donations.

every little counts.
