Beloved Rabbits is the only rabbit dedicated rescue charity in Scotland, and last year we rescued over 270 rabbits and saw them hop off to new homes fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. 

However, the pressure on us for rescue space is huge and in January alone this year we received over 50 requests to rehome more than 80 rabbits.

Our goal is to open our own public rescue and rehoming facility which would take some of that pressure off and allow us to improve the lives of more neglected and abused rabbits like Maya: https://belovedrabbits.org/maya-left-to-starve/

I've signed up to do the 24 Peaks challenge this September as this cause is so close to my heart - two of my own rabbits are ex-Beloved bunnies and volunteering for the charity I've seen first hand how great the work they do is. It's also necessary as, despite being the UK's third most popular pet, rabbits are the most neglected pet in the UK.
