Mums!
We have a challenge! The 250 Mum challenge! Can you help?
As Emergency Fundraiser for Save the Children I am aiming to raise £500 to help in the charitys work in povery stricken East Africa. £500 is enough to provide a month's supply of special emergency food for 40 severely malnourished kids in in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia.
As a mother the thought of not being able to feed my child affects me in a way that I can not describe. No one should be faced with this. No child should go hungry. Never.
So, the plan is to find 250 fabulous (well, aren't we all?!) mums who can sponsor me just £2 each. If you could donate £2 that would be amazing and if you could ask any of your mum friends to do the same that would be even more amazing.
If you like, in the comments section, you could leave your little (or not so little!) one's first name and age so that we can celebrate all new life we have made.
Thank you,
Eimear and Saoirse (age 5 months) xx
