BMW Berlin Marathon 2012 · 30 September 2012 ·

Whizz Kidz provides young wheelchair users with the equipment and skills they need to live life as independently as possible, at home, at school, at work and beyond.

Story

Welcome to 26 miles and 26 pints, the marathon training diary of Tim and Matthew Larden and Adam Redmond.

We are raising money for the fantastic work of Whizz Kidz. They give disabled children the support, equipment and skills to be just like any other kid.

We are seeking to raise £3k for this great charity. To earn this, we intend, as the name suggests, to run 26 miles and then drink 26 pints in Berlin. Our time limit is 4 hours for the running marathon and then a further 48 hours for the beer marathon.

This is all happening at the end of September in Berlin so please contribute any amount you can to three men
