Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

Chris Sawyers, Mark Campbell and Matthew Edwards are raising money for Diabetes UK in memory of Lisa Day, a friend, and sister who sadly passed away on the 12th September 2015 due to a case of severe Diabetic ketoacidosis – a fatal complication if not treated urgently. Lisa was only 27 when she died, there are so many things that she didn't get to do in life. We want to make sure something positive comes out of such a sad situation and to make sure that her legacy lives on.

I for one am no runner, the training started December 2015, and the transition has been painful with countless newbie injuries and mistakes along the way, but as we approach the final 6 weeks of our training plans we would appreciate anything at all that you can donate, it would mean the world to us after so much suffering - with the worst still to come.

You can keep up to date on our training here:
