Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi I am Cillian, I have had the privilege of being to Barretstown on numerous occasions as a camper and now as a participant in their "Camp Leadership Program (CLP)".

Barretstown and the GAA has brought so much happiness, throughout my years of remission with Crohn's Disease and has enabled me to meet new people and to keep myself mentally and physically healthy.

This year I am celebrating my 5th year of remission with Crohn's Disease and with that thought in mind I decided to give back for the beautiful memories that each of these organisations have gave me and that is where the "27 for Barretstown Challenge" was born.

The inspiration came from the fact that Barretstown are celebrating their 27th year of spreading their love and therapeutic services to children and families across the country and my undying love for the GAA as it has modelled me into the person that I am today.

We have got many premier athletes, social media influencers and of course our families and friends to take part in this challenge on social media
