27,000 Press Ups for Cardiac Risk in the Young

15,000 Press Ups for Cardiac Risk in the Young · 1 November 2022
On April 17th 2021, we lost a wonderful friend, James Sheppard, to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.
In James' memory, we are raising money to fund cardiac screening sessions for young people in and around Sherwood in Nottingham.
Chris, Gary, Tom, Feasey, Nathan, Leather Phil, George, Malcolm and Padelis will be doing 100 press-ups each day in November, adding to a total of 27,000 press-ups over the month.
Any contributions would be hugely appreciated.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk
