As a mildly chubby man in my mid-30’s I’ve been thinking of things I could do to support my boyhood hero Marcus Stewart and the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. I’ve decided rather stupidly to walk the equivalent of the 277 miles between the Memorial Stadium and the Stadium of Light in November and December. I’ll be tracking all my walks/runs/slow jogs etc so I won’t get away with any slacking. Stewie gave Gasheads many memories both on and off the pitch as a player and a coach. Now’s the time for us to show him what he means to us. Please give what you can.

The Foundation was create to raise awareness of MND, to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure for the illness, to raise funds and offer grants to those with MND, as well as creating a network to help provide information and emotional support network for those diagnosed with the disease.
