Consumer Services Challenge: 2 days 2 fundraise

Follow the adventures of Rod Bulmer, Richard Lancaster, Stuart Roberts, Tim Cutting, Janet McNally as they take on a series of 2 day challenges across Cumbria to raise funds for the British Red Cross to help tackle loneliness in our communities.

The story

The Co-op Consumer Services Leadership team are hitting the road for a two-day challenge to raise money for the British Red Cross to help tackle loneliness, one of the biggest social issues affecting 1 in 7 of our members and customers regardless of age, background or community.

The team will be relocating to the Lakes in our new insurance specialist vehicle (dubbed ‘Elvis!’ and pictured here) to carry out a series of community challenges against the clock, including everything from washing cars, to packing bags and serving afternoon tea.

 

Our aim is simple: to raise money and (more importantly) awareness of the issue of loneliness in the communities we live.
