1000km Family Cycle Ride · 30 May 2020

At Zarach we are on a mission to end bed poverty in England giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the future cycle of poverty. So far, We have delivered over 10,000 beds to children, ensuring they get the restful sleep they need and lifting them out of bed poverty.

Story

On Saturday 30th May, Cubs and their families from 2nd Otley Scout Group's Tuesday and Thursday Cub Packs will be taking part in family bike rides to collectively try and cycle more than 1,000 kilometres during one day! Whilst we won't be cycling together during the lockdown, we will be encouraging each other through a virtual gathering before the day's cycling.

It's all in aid of Zarach, a Leeds based charity that supports families in financial hardship by providing beds, food parcels and other support - particularly during the tough time caused by Covid-19.

We'd love all our Cubs to get involved and cycle as many kilometres as they can, along with their families, as we try and hit our 1,000 kilometre target!

We'd love you to encourage the Cubs with any financial support you're able to provide that will go directly to Zarach and all the great work they're doing in Leeds.

Thank you in advance!
