CANCER RESEARCH WALES ARE DELIGHTED TO BE TEAMING UP WITH GLOBAL ADVENTURE CHALLENGES, AS WE HEAD TO TANZANIA TO TAKE ON THE WORLDS HIGHEST FREE-STANDING MOUNTAIN, KILIMANJARO.

Story

In some way, all of us will have been affected by cancer, whether directly or family, friends and colleagues may have been affected. It is an awful disease and having witnessed first-hand the pain and suffering that cancer causes, I am passionate about fundraising so that I can give something back!

Cancer doesn't discriminate and it is a global issue, but here in Wales, there is a very special charity that is close to my heart, Cancer Research Wales, who are making vital progress into prevention, early diagnosis and better treatment that will benefit cancer patients in Wales and beyond.

Climbing Kilimanjaro will be the biggest challenge I have faced but is dwarfed in comparison to the challenges that the millions of cancer sufferers face on a daily basis, I'm sure, with this in mind, it will give us the strength to keep going!!
