Myself and approx 23 friends and family have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, a feat unheard of for those who know we wouldn't even run for the bus, in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge is a UK trekking challenge, designed to test people's endurance, strength and teamwork. The Peaks includes, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. 

Roughly translated, 26 miles, 3 peaks, 12 hours!

As many of you are aware, I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer at Christmas 2017. One thyroid, a 4cm tumour and 40 lymphnodes later we are fighting this battle and anything that is thrown our way. 

Cancer Research UK is the worlds largest independent cancer research charity conducting research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Cancer Research UK's work is almost entirely funded by the public. Donating money to this incredible cause helps scientists get closer to finding a cure.
