Families are right at the heart of Rainbow Hub. Based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, we’re a charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

When Lydia was born she faced a huge mountain to climb. Lydia has Cerebal Palsy, a neurological condition which affects her movement and co-ordination. But to look at her you would never know.

The Legacy Rainbow house have helped Lydia and other children like her, cope with the daily challenges of disability and make that mountain a little easier to climb.

We’ve all seen how Lydia and her family have been supported by The Legacy Rainbow house and how they have helped her become this confident and independent little girl.

So, we wanted to do something to help The Legacy continue their work, but it had to be a real challenge to push us all to our limits.

On the 21st May 2011, 24 people will face their own mountain, well three of them to be precise, when they take on the Three Peaks Challenge. The Legacy team will attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours.

We’re all training really hard for this so any support you can give us will really give us the boost we need.

You can find out more about The Legacy and check out pictures of the team on our website http://www.thelegacy-rainbowhouse.com/

Thank you, wish us luck!
