Kate's "30 for 30" challenge · 1 November 2020
My employer, DriveTech, has its 30th anniversary this year so I am fundraising as part of the company’s “30 for 30” celebrations.
I am going to be collecting at least 30 pieces of litter each day during the 30 days of November. I aim to raise £3.30 a day, totally £99 for the month.
A huge amount of the litter we see comes from motorists chucking it out their window. Not just unsightly, litter can even trigger severe accidents on the road as it can cause people to dramatically swerve, or damage vehicles resulting in loss of control. The trend to litter appears
to be on the up, and I want to do my bit to help keep the environment and roads clean.
DriveTech is really keen to support me and will match-fund any monies I raise here (up to a cap of £3,500) so please give generously – your support is gratefully received.
We support a really valuable cause – the Road Victims Trust (https://www.rvtrust.org.uk/ ) – they provide vital support for the family and close friends of anyone who is tragically killed in a road traffic incident. Check out their website to see the sterling support they provide.
Thanks for any help you can provide – in valuable monetary donations – or just in providing encouraging support!
