Oxfam Fundraiser: Scale highest point in each of the 32 Counties in Ireland

Scaling the highest point in each of the 32 Counties in Ireland · 15 March 2022
Over 4 million people have fled deadly violence in Ukraine. Refugees need food, water, and warm clothing, but above all they need to feel safe. Oxfam is preparing to support local organizations providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable families in neighbouring countries and lobbying governments to provide a safe haven to Ukrainian and other refugees.
Denis Meade and Tibbs Pereira are scaling the highest point in each of the 32 counties in Ireland in aid of Oxfam to support its Ukraine Crisis Appeal and activities to end injustice, inequality and poverty around the world. These are uncertain times and many have already been so generous, so all donations, no matter how small, are welcome.
Track our progress - and struggles - on Facebook: Peaky Climbers | Facebook. Our plan is to complete this challenge by the end of September 2022. Our reference is "Ireland's County High Points (A Walking Guide) by Kieron Gribbon, which is a good guide to the highest point in each of the 32 counties on the island of Ireland. While a little out of date regarding facilities, etc. it's a safe bet that the high points are the same and have not changed in the last 10 years or so!
We are funding all our costs ourselves, so every cent donated will go through JustGiving directly to Oxfam. Your donation will save lives and rebuild communities when disaster strikes, and will help people build better lives for themselves.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you - Tibbs and Denis
