National 3 Peaks Challenge · 15 June 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Welcome to our Just Giving page!

Myself (Joe) and my younger brother (Charlie) will be attempting to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge in June 2018  to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, and as a personal challenge to ourselves.

We will be climbing Ben Nevis (Scotland), then travelling to and climbing Scafell Pike (England), and for the final leg we will travel to and climb Snowdon (Wales), all in under 24 hours with no rest. We will be doing all of the travelling by motorcycle, adding an extra endurance element.

Our Grandfather has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and he has lost 2 brothers and a sister in recent years to the same disease. We'd like to do anything we can to aid the research into this terrible and destructive disease.

Please donate whatever you can and follow our preparation and progress along the way!
