We are passionate about supporting people with life-limiting illness and their families in a positive, caring and practical way. We are an integral part of the Five Towns' community offering round-the-clock support 365 days a year. Thank you for helping us to continue to make a difference.

Story

Summer of Cycling 500 mile Challenge
Thank you for visiting our fandraising page.

We are 3 friends; Adrian Grimbley (Bean Counter), Andrew McIntosh (Arthur Daley of the Motor Trade) & Neil Cooper (Print Entrepreneur).

We regularly meet at our local watering hole, the Rogerthorpe Manor, in Badsworth to exchange stories of our youth and bemoan lifes obstacles. We are into our forties (Andy into his fifties) and have been inspired by the recent achievements of British Cycling to such an extent that we have each invested in colourful lycra and rubber!!

We are equally inspired by the tireless work of The Prince of Wales Hospice, this fantastic local charity benefits the lives of terminally ill patients and their families in the local area and is in desperate need of funding.

In order to combine the two we have planned to take part in 3 summer cycling events spanning a total of 7 days and over 500 miles;

* Pontefract Cyclothon - 60 miles
* GYBR - Wetherby to Filey and back - 150 miles
* London to Paris Cycle - 300 miles
       Day 1 - London to Dover - 73 miles
       Day 2 - Calais to Arass - 78 miles
       Day 3 - Arass to Compiegne - 75 miles
       Day 4 - Compiegne to Paris - 66 miles

Please help us to support the Prince of Wales Hospice so that they can continue to support patients and their families at what is an extremely painful time.

Thank you for visiting our page and thank you for your generosity.
