University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.

Story

After one of the memers of our group’s father has oesophageal cancer, we wanted to challenge ourselves to raise money for the upper GI team and the cancer centre at the QEHB after their hard work and delivering life saving treatment and support.

Everyone is affected by cancer at some point in their lives whether that be directly or indirectly and it is taken for granted the hard work that these teams do in treating cancer, supporting patients and their loved ones. We therefore, wanted to do our bit to raise money by pushing our bodies to say thank you to all those involved in treating cancer.

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports patients, families and NHS staff across four hospitals in the West Midlands - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull.During the current COVID-19 crisis, your donations are helping us to support our NHS superheroes.Delivering care packs to nurses, providing "wobble rooms" for staff to get psychological and emotional support, helping patients to stay in contact with their families by providing tablets with video conferencing apps and much more.

Thanks for all the donations and support

Katie, Georgi, Liam and Jake 💙
