We provide whole family care and support to those living with life-limiting illness

Story

On the 1st of July 2016, we lost my mum 'Helen Meakin' to cancer.

For those of you who knew my mum, would know she always put others first, she always cared for whatever you had to say and would strive to put things right. If she put her mind to something, she would put herself through every emotion until she got through it. Although my mum was small, she was stronger than anyone I knew and that's what gives me the drive to do this.

On 3rd September 2016 - Myself, Luke Roberts, James Stokes, Cal Burns, Matty Owen, Dave Barnett, Mitchell Evans, Fred Wilson, Matty Willis and Ali Sim with the help of our trusty drivers Simon and Sean Meakin aim to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours for Severn Hospice.

The Severn hospice have been a big part of my life in the last year, and I can't thank them enough for the constant love and support they paid my mum, yiayia and pappou as well as being there for other family members close to me. I can only hope the money we raise, can help the charity continue to shine lights on other families like mine.

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
