Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours including the travel in between the starting points, which, for 3 Blokes in their 40s with beer bellies and dodgy knees is going to be a huge task but immensely rewarding when we succeed.

 **************************** EDIT ***********************

WE HAD TO STOP OUR FIRST ATTEMPT ON OUR SECOND MOUNTAIN DUE TO STORMS COMING IN, WE GOT 400FT FROM THE TOP BEFORE HAVING TO CALL IT OFF.

WE ARE TRYING IT ALL AGAIN ON SUNDAY 24TH JULY

**********************************************************

We will start the challenge at approximately 12 noon on the 1st July 2022 at Ben Nevis, Scotland, which is 1,344 metres, the tallest of the three.
From there, the 3 of us will drive south into the Lake District where we will reach the starting point late on in the evening to climb in many peoples opinion, the toughest of all the peaks, Scafell Pike (978 m) If we survive this, finally we drive down the m6 once again, drive past our houses and on towards the Welsh mountain, Snowdon with its height of 1,085 m. (Hopefully stating the accent early morning before the crowds appear)
