Our Dougie Mac Memory Walk is a family-friendly series of sponsored walks suitable for all ages and abilities to come together to remember a loved one and raise much needed funds for your local adult hospice.

Story

Who are we?... We are 4 mates, Greg, Joe, Tom and Ben from sixth form who have decided to take part in the 3 Peaks Challenge for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Dougie Mac provides end of life treatment for individuals suffering from terminal illnesses. As one of our group suffered the loss of a family member and was taken care of by the Hospice, we would like to show our appreciation to the charity and support them so the can provide more outstanding treatment, like they did for Dean Avery.

The challenge is to climb the 3 largest peaks in the UK Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. We are hoping to do the challenge on the 7th and 8th of July 2021.
