3 Peaks Challenge · 27 July 2015

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

At the end of June 9 of us will be embarking on this challenge for Alex's birthday (why he wants to do this for his birthday is a mystery to me). The challenge entails us climbing 3 peaks (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) within 24 hours. In order to make this self-inflicted suffering worthwhile for others we have decided that we would like to use it as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society. The climb is all self-funded and any money donated will go straight to the Alzheimer's Society. We chose this charity because most people have family members that have Alzheimer's thus they can relate to the cause. Any money that you can spare would be greatly appreciated, we do not have a target, we would just like to raise as much as we can in the time we have left before the challenge.
