CARE 3 Peaks Challenge · 10 September 2011 ·

CARE International is a humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

Story

Hi everyone,

A group of us from work have signed up for the 3 peaks challenge on the weekend of 10/11 September 2011 to raise donations for the CARE charity. CARE International is one of the world’s three biggest aid agencies.

Your fundraising could fix a whole village’s water infrastructure in Pakistan or help the villagers in Nepal who have been struggling on a daily basis to earn a living and to feed themselves.

What is the 3 peaks challange?
In this event we will climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in a target time of 24 hours! First we will ascend the mighty Ben Nevis (1334m) in Scotland on the Saturday 10 September afternoon. Next will be Scafell pike (978m) in the Lake District, followed by the final mountain, Snowdon (1085m) in Wales on the Sunday afternoon.

How you can support the event
1. Sponsor us to do the 3 peaks challenge
2. Support us by driving the mini-buses between mountains

Every penny you give will be matched by our employer.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
