Story
On 10 July 2009 a brave/stupid group of us (Samir Desai, Sachin Patel, Phillip Hyett, Vincent Casey, Luke Casey, David Lam, Dilhan Perusinghe, Ishan Perusinghe, Anish Jadav, Noor Lalani and Alan Sloan) will be rocketing round the UK attempting to complete the Three Peaks Challenge.
The Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (), in under 24 hours. It includes a total drive of 460 miles, a total walk of 26 miles, a vertical climb of over 10,000 feet, sleep deprivation and, in our case, 11 guys crammed together in a tiny minibus (we don’t know which is worse!)
We are doing this to raise money for the Neil Desai Foundation, which was set up following the tragic death of Neil Desai in September 2008 from an undiagnosed heart condition, aged 22.
Any donations you can make would be greatly appreciated; donations through Justgiving are quick, easy and totally secure and for every £1 you donate the Foundation can claim another 25p in Gift Aid.
Thanks for your support!
P.S. Fancy dress options are being considered so suggestions (within reason) would be appreciated…
