Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Our team ( Jenny, Jasons wife, Carlus, Alun & Matt) are going to complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research in memory of Jason Willis, husband and Daddy of two girls who died n October 2020 from brain cancer.

Jason was both an amazing Daddy and a kind, warm funny person. He had the most infectious smile and loved talking to anyone.

We remember how funny and chatty Jason could be. On a crazy stag weekend where the camper vans broke down and everyone stressed, it was Jason who raised the mood and had everyone laughing.

Jason was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain tumour in 2019. After brain surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Jason had a few months together with his family, before he died the year after.

By raising funds for Brain Tumour Research we are hoping to find a cure and better treatment options, so other loved ones have better chances. So we’ll be doing 3 Yorkshire peaks - Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-Y-Ghent, just over 24 miles and 5200 feet of ascent with the target to complete as a team within 12 hours. If you can please supoort sponsor us we can raise funds to find a cure 💛
