3 Peaks Challenge: King's Canterbury · 11 July 2019

We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

This year The King's School, Canterbury Support Staff are raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in memory of Emily Hayward-Hasan.

The team from King's Support Staff - Natalie Collins, Gemella Evans, Jez Hadlow, Clare Reed and Dan Rogers -  will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon, the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales! The team will be guided by Major Adam Vintner and Dr Stewart Hayes and supported by our drivers Major Martin Franks and Ross Webb.

In total they will drive 462 miles, walk 23 miles and ascend 3064 metres with an aim to complete this challenge within a 24 hour window.
