Running the Leeds Country Way and cycling the length of Britain. · 2 January 2023

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Over the past couple of years, I’ve really enjoyed pushing myself to go further, whether that’s on foot or by bike, and so this year I’m aiming to run the 100km (62 miles) Leeds Country Way in under 12 hours, and cycle the length of Britain in 12 days.

For these 2 endurance events, I'm raising money for Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson's has become significant to my wife Philippa and me recently and every donation, no matter the amount, will help fund research to find a cure and support those living with Parkinson's.

Follow my training journey and see regular updates of the challenges on my Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/jonny.adamson/
