Story

Sadly the big 'C' is a word all to common within all of our lives. Macmillan are a fantastic charity set up to not only support those going through tough times but strive towards beating cancer for good. This challenge is a fun way of hopefully raising some money to keep the support and research going. No donation is to small and every penny is gratefully received.

So what's the challenge all about??

4 rounds of golf in one single day, simple right?

The team is made up of myself, Mike Crawshaw, Stuart Slater and hopefully one other.

On average it takes us 3 and a half hours for a round of golf and we are often very happy to see the 19th hole once done (the bar). To compete this task within day light hours we will be teeing off at sunrise and no doubt putting on the last green at sun set. As a rule of thumb you use up almost 1500 calories during a single round and therefore we are expected to burn in the region of 6000 calories for this challenge, a lot of sandwiches and cakes are going to be eaten :-)

Once again your support is really appreciated and fingers crossed we don't loose to many balls!!
