166.4 miles CTCRM to Corps Museum Portsmouth · 20 July 2019 ·

One day, 166.4 miles cycled in one day, one iconic location to another for RMA - The Royal Marines Charity providing vital funds to support the Corps Family.

Story

We will be a collection of seasoned cyclists, enthusiastic amateurs and outright novices who are also serving members of 40 Commando Royal Marines who, through determination and obstinacy (and possibly some coercion!), will cycle a convoluted route from the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in Devon to the former Royal Marines Museum in Hampshire and we will aim to complete this in less than 10 hours.

This is a tall order and will require courage, determination, unselfishness and plenty of cheerfulness in the face of adversity particularly if the weather starts to work against us.

The intention is to raise money for the Royal Marines Charity who are the Royal Marine's chosen charity and provide essential support, advice and friendship to serving and retired Royal Marines and their families.
